Make a Hanger Planet Mobile: Make a sun (yellow) and 8 planets out of paper. Decorate the circles how you would like them and glue them on cardboard to strengthen. Punch a hole and place string or yarn through the hole and tie off. Tie on a hanger and display. |

Hands-on Space: Put inexpensive hair gel into a Ziploc bag and add glitter and stars. Double bag it and glue or tape shut. Explore "space". |
Go on a Moon Rock Hunt: Search for rocks outside that could be "moon rocks". Collect and display them in the classroom. |
FRIDAY |
Space Picture: Give the children a black sheet of paper and star stickers to make a space picture. |
Put cushions, foam mattress, or some sort of mats on the floor and go on a Moon Walk. |

Learn the Names of the Planets by hanging up a large poster with all the planets on it. Teach the children the names of them: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ?Pluto? and don't forget the Sun and the Moon. |
Tape or glue two sturdy paper plates together back to back to make Flying Saucers. Decorate with crayons or markers. Take turns throwing them inside or out. |
