* Choose one or more activies from Danielle's Place

* Choose one or more Jonah and the Great Fish activities from Kings Kids Stuff.

*Teach this story of Jonah and the People of Nineveh with flannel-board figures.


Gross Motor -- Running

* I teach my toddlers to run whenever I say, "Ready, set, GO!" They love it and it comes in handy when I need them to move fast from one place to another.

* Scroll down to V. Moving in Space, then to 2. Running at Rythmic Movement for Toddlers and Preschoolers.

* Play some Running Games.

* Try this Run to Read & Color Mileage Program for Kiddie Runners.

* Hold an Outdoor Olympics.


Math -- 3, 4

* Count with the children, pointing to different objects.

* Print out these Number Buddies: 3, 4.

* Choose one or more activities from Preschool by Stormie: 3, 4.


Science -- Ocean Fish

* Step By Step has a wonderful Under the Sea and Ocean Page.

* Choose one or more activities from First-School.

* Make Stormy Seas Jelly.

* Teach this lesson on Dolphins.

* Choose one or more crafts at Free Kid Crafts.


Color -- Blue

* Make a blue collage using bits of blue yarn, lace, fabric scraps, tissue papaer, fun foam, stickers, etc.

* Choose one or more activities at Preschool By Stormie.

* Sing songs about Blue from Preschool Education.

* Preschool Express has a wonderful section on Learning About the Color Blue.


Letters -- C, D

* "C" words to build on: cotton balls, circles, cap, carpet, Christmas, cookie, calendar, cat, cow, caterpillar, corn.

* "D" words to build on: dot, diamond, dinosaur, dog, doll, dice, dirt.

* Letter of the Week: C, D.

* Free Kids Crafts has units on C and D.

Shape -- Square

* Make a Square Collage out of old CD covers, fabric squares, paper squares, etc.

* Go on a Square Hunt around the house or classroom.

* Choose one or more activities from Preschool By Stormie.

* Print out this Shape Buddy.

* Play What is a Square?
Put masking tape on the floor outlining the shape of a square, then march the lines while singing:

Tune: Farmer In the Dell
We walk along the square

Four straight lines
All the same size
We walk along the square.

* Print the Bible words, "Listen to what God says." Proverbs 4:20, on color sheets and other crafts. Repeat the words out loud as much as possible.
