Read The Napping House

Explore Flashlights. Provide an inexpensive flashlight for each child. Turn off the lights, cover some of the windows and have fun!

Teach all or some of this Fishers of Men lesson and crafts. |
Make a Boat out of a large cardboard box. Take turns being in the boat and teaching. |
THURSDAY |
Make a Star Painting: Dip star-shaped cookie cutters in yellow and white paint and stamp on blue and black construction paper. |

FRIDAY |
Slumber Party: children come in pajamas, spend the day pretending it is night time, serve "dinner" (lunch), read bedtime stories, address night time fears, explore the world of nocturnal animals and swing shift workers, etc. |
Night-Time Center: Sleeping mats or blankets; mini pool, rubber ducky and some towels for taking a pretend bath; books for bedtime stories; dolls, teddy bears, etc. |

Yawning Yaks

Get out the Textured Pillows and let the children explore and lay their heads on them.

Soothing Playdough
2 c flour
2 TBS alum
1 c salt
1 1/2 c water
1/2 c Baby Magic Calming Milk Lotion
food coloring
Mix dry ingredients, add water and lotion. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the consistency of mashed potatoes. Turn out on to a floured surface, knead until a good consistency (no longer sticky, but not stiff). |
