Toy Wash & Swap Every two weeks I have the children bring the toys to the dishwasher or washing machine, I load and start the machines. In the meantime, I give each of the children a wet rag to wipe down the shelves, large toys, and tables with (they LOVE this) and I have a little disinfectent on my rag as I wipe them all down. We choose new board books to put on the book shelf. I then get out the second set of toys that we washed last time--it's all new to them!
