TUESDAY Discuss how Jesus loves children. Print on strips of paper: "Jesus (heart shape)(child's name)." and have the children decorate. Explore Music from other countries: London Bridge (England), Day-O (Jamacia), Did You Ever See a Lassie? (Scotland), I Am a Pretty Little Dutch Girl (Holland), Waltzing Matilda (Australia), Kum Ba Yah (Africa), Frere Jacques (France), can you think of more? WEDNESDAY Teach all or some of this Jesus and the Children lesson and activities from Mission Arlington. Memory Verse Toss: Toss around a small ball or beanie baby. The one who catches the ball says the memory verse. THURSDAY Create with Playdough: While playing with playdough, discuss how God created us and all the children of the world. Before class make a Multicultural Book. Explore the book and talk about the different features on different people. FRIDAY Make a class Unity Wreath. Ball Day! Toss around some Inflatable Globes. SNACKS & ALTERNATE ACTIVITIES Snacks Bread Sticks

Children of the World Art Have the children paint a paper plate blue and green to resemble the world. After they dry, have children glue pre-cut magazine pictures of children of all nations (old National Geographic and health magazines are good sources).
