TUESDAY Choose some activities from David the Shepherd. Glue cotton balls onto this Lamb from DLTK Kids.
WEDNESDAY Choose some activities from David Bible Crafts and Activities. Line up empty 2-liter soda bottles or baby bottles and use a ball to make a bowling game. Talk about how David "knocked that giant down" because he had faith and trusted in God. After the story, give each child five turns (representing the 5 shiny stones David picked) rolling the ball to knock down the bottles.
THURSDAY Choose some activities from David and Goliath from Mission Arlington. Do Marble Painting with five stones.
FRIDAY Choose some activities from King David from Mission Arlington. Put pictures of castles in your block area, and encourage children to build their own castles.

Life-size Goliath.

He was 9 feet tall! Draw a simple "Goliath" on a piece of butcher paper. Have the children help you color him and place him on the wall. Compare your height to his.
