TUESDAY Decorate a Mitten! On a large cut out of a mitten from a strong paper or felt, decorate with a variety of art materials such as glitter, rickrack, pom-poms, etc. Mitten March: Have the children put on their mittens or gloves and invite them to march around the room clapping the beat to a familiar song.
WEDNESDAY Teach all or some of this John Baptizes Jesus lesson and activities from Mission Arlington. Make this Dove TP Roll Craft.
THURSDAY Read The Mitten and The Hat both by Jan Brett. Parachute Play: Put the hats, gloves, and mittens in an old blanket. Everyone hold an edge of the blanket and bounce the items.
FRIDAY Decorate Winter Hats: On a large cut out of a stocking hat from a strong paper or felt, decorate with a variety of art materials such as glitter, rickrack, pom-poms, etc. Winter Bear: Let the children take turns dressing up a bear or doll with the hats and mittens.

Make Mitten Bean Bags out of old mittens that don�t have a match, you can use them for a variety of beanbag games.

Make this Put the Animals in the Mitten actvitiy by Jan Brett. Hat and Mitten Hokey Pokey
Sing "The Hokey Pokey", but put your Hat and Mittens in, out, etc.
